Breakfast is served from 7.00 – 9.00  Monday to Friday 7.30 – 9.30  Saturday and Sunday.

Check In time is usually after 6pm and before 9.30 pm. Check out time is 11.00 am.

If you would like to arrive earlier or leave later that the above times, please enquire and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Tea/Coffee making facilities are provided in all rooms.

An iron and ironing board are available and valuables can be stored in a safe on request.

We also provide a range of literature on the local area in rooms and have more information available in the dining room, should you wish to see it.  We are happy to offer any advice on the local area or walks that may interest you.

WIFI is available in rooms

MOBILE  PHONE  reception is not good in the house but can usually be obtained in the garden or across the road.

TELEVISION has normal “freeview” channels.

DOGS  We have two working cocker spaniels named Busy (Mother) and Bother who are very friendly but we would ask for your assistance in deterring them from entering your rooms and the dining room.  If you are not particularly fond of dogs, please inform us on your arrival.

I am afraid we do not take visitor’s dogs unless they are service dogs.

SHOP.   Situated next to Yew Cottage is The Acre Stores shop, a member of the Londis group.

They are open from 8.00 am – 19.00 pm Monday to Saturday and 9.30 am – 13.00 Sundays.

The shop includes an off-licence, Post Office, and sells tickets for the National Lottery.

They also offer a dry-cleaning service, please enquire direct in the shop.  A post box is situated just outside the shop front.

IN  CASE  OF  EMERGENCY  and /or assistance during the day or night, please ring on the doorbell situated either at the back or front door of the cottage.  Or call the house phone 01262 720325 or 07771645341.

Fire detectors are provided in the vicinity of all rooms.  Yew Cottage is a  NO  SMOKING  establishment.  You may smoke in the garden, but please keep your distance from the thatch!
